During the 5th Annual Fort Myers Beach Pirate Fest, organizers will host the “Hoist the Colors… and Show us Your Tats!” Tattoo Contest.
The Contest is sponsored by FMB Tattoo Studio, Ancient Art Tattoo Studio and Peter Tattoo Studio.
$100 Gift Certificates towards your next tattoo will be awarded prizes to the winners.
Entry fee is $10. Both Men and Ladies are welcomed to participate.
Preferred entries are of Pirate or Nautical nature.
Contestants will be judged by local tattoo artists and by audience appreciation.
(Tattoo artists will refrain from judging work performed by themselves or artists who work with or for them)
Categories include: Best Pirate Theme, Best Nautical Theme, Most Colorful, Largest and Best Cover-up.
(All submissions to the category of “Best Cover Up” must include a clear, publishable “before” photograph.)
Every Body has a story. Contestants must complete the entry form and give a short description of tattoo,
the artist who inked it and a little blurb about why, how or the story behind the tattoo.
The Contest will take place at the “Matanzas Pirate Stage” on Old San Carlos Blvd.
(Next to Smokin’ Oyster Brewery) on Saturday October 9th at 4pm.
