The Black Pearl: A finely crafted 47' twin mast schooner built in 1983.
After navigating her way from the shores of Lighthouse Point, a 4 day voyage through the inland waters of Florida, she is now a part of the local scenery here in the Fort Myers Beach area. To catch her under full sail is truly a sight to behold especially during our priceless sunsets.

A South Florida based Pirate Entertainment Group with more than 25 members.
Their shows consist of Black Powder Demonstrations, a Living History Pirate Encampment, sea shanties and other types of piratical merriment and mayhem.
The East Coast Privateers will be out plundering and pillaging the streets and docks of Tortuga this Columbus Day weekend.

The Royal Chessmen is an acting troupe based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida that portrays the life of another time through character interaction, staged combat, and living chess games.

Quarter Master Tiffen Pickering is a fearless pirate that is known for deception, his love of canons, strong rum and fine wenches. With his long history of pillagin', plunderin', and looting, he had amassed an enormous fortune in jewels and gold.
Knowing his fellow pirates were conspiring to take his ill gotten booty. It was time to move his treasure to a safer place, but the question was how? There was so much of it, how could he trust the whereabouts to so many men? Tiffen had a plan! There was a man that had double crossed him before,"Bosun Dan" a scallywag so corrupt that he had even backstabbed his own mother, just for a single doubloon.
Quarter Master Tiffen asked Bosun Dan to gather a group of thieves and thugs to help carry his treasures inland. They walked for a day and a half and then stopped to dig two very large pits. Tiffen stood watch and tattooed a map to his treasure on own his arm. The treasure was all buried in the first pit with the exception of one chest. The men asked Dan why it was such a large pit for one small chest, he opened it and showed them it was full of weapons. He then shot each of the weary men and pushed them into the pit and began to cover them up. That's when Tiffen said, "I believe there is room for one more!" with a loud bang, down went Dan. With the last witness of the treasure's location buried beside it, Tiffen was content to head back to port.
If you are lucky enough to catch a glance of the map on his arm, be sure not to stare too long, it may cost you an eye.

Many wonder if he is man or myth, truth is nobody really knows for sure, perhaps this undead pirate is a little of both.

The Harbinger
The Harbinger makes berth out of old Tampa bay and draws her crew from all of the state of Florida. With over 75 members, the Harbinger's crew can be seen sporting the tell tale red and black arm bands showing her colors.
Know for their rousing songs, boisterous banter, and good natured fun, the crew is always up for a bit of sport with the local population of the towns we make port.
If ye see one of the crew of the Harbinger, be sure to make yerself know as we be always looking to add to the ranks, and we be willing to induct even the most disreputable of scallywags!
