Knot For Sail
For nearly 30 years now Knot For Sail, the official Pyrates of the Coast band, has been entertaining children of all ages throughout the U.S. and the Caribbean. Their unique style of music blends the best of the folk area with historical, hysterical and contemporary nautical infused tunes, a mix of music that appeals to children of all ages. Those who have been lucky enough to see them in concert love the intimacy of their performance, as the audience is drawn right into the act. Pirate Tales is a musical stage show based upon the music of the original Renaissance Pleasure Faire.
They sing about the important things in life: drinking, fighting, women and men. Their music uses double meanings and euphemisms to discuss sex, murder and mayhem. They entertain audiences of all ages and have shows varying in language that make their performances suitable for children's shows, family shows, general audience, as well as their infamous naughty shows. They perform in traditional pirate costumes with replica swords and non-firing weapons. Their shows promote good health, audience participation and a strong constitution. The Calendar Girls
The Calendar Girls came together originally as performers for the half-time show of a local basketball team. The fun and fitness, as a part of that group, held them together to form the Calendar Girls Inc., a not-for-profit charitable organization. Through their performances, they are able to reach out to the community in a way that brings smiles and fun into often very quiet days.
Although they are a not-for-profit organization, they do accept donations to help offset the cost of being traveling performers. This is a dance team comprised of women ages 45 and over. The members formerly danced for the Florida Flames Basketball team . When the team disbanded the group's devotion to dancing was so strong that several members joined together to form the HOT FLASHZ!
Their love and passion for dancing is clearly evident in their performances. With energetic and fun dance routines, the HOT FLASHZ deliver a unique and entertaining show!
